This IETM Meeting aimed at bringing some fresh air and an unusual format: welcomed by some of the the key cultural players of Berlin, we wanted to re-think ourselves through an Open Space at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (an architectural landmark in the West of the city) and Radialsystem V (a new platform for the arts in the East).
The participation of the members and visitors was crucial to construct the programme for this meeting with the theme, "Searching for Plan C - Celebrating and Cerebraling the Crisis".
After having tried Plans A and B from Capitalism to Communism, from the market economy to protectionism, from surrealism to post-modernism, the democracies in which we live are looking for new ways of getting out of this so-called crisis.
In gathering the specialists of crisis management (the cultural operators!), we dug into some creative solutions in order to look for different Plans C for our societies.
