Gundega Laivina runs New Theatre Institute of Latvia, a project based organization working in the field of contemporary performing arts. Since 2009 she is artistic and managing director of Homo Novus, International festival of contemporary theatre. Gundega has studied music, theory of culture and social anthropology. In 2011 and 2015 she was a curator of Latvian National exposition at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space (exposition The Submission awarded with golden medal for the total performance design in 2015); from 2010 till 2014 she was a member of the artistic board of Riga – European Cultural Capital 2014 being specifically responsible for site-specific initiatives and projects involving communities.

Marie Le Sourd is the Secretary General of the European cultural mobility information network, On the Move. She also contributes to projects with the European network IN SITU, and several European cooperation projects. Prior to this present working experience, Marie was from 1999 to 2006 in charge of programme in the Cultural Exchange Department of the Asia-Europe Foundation based in Singapore (ASEF), particularly in the fields of young artists’ exchange, development of cultural policies and networks of cultural professionals. From 2006 till 2011, she joined the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working as the director of the French Cultural Centre in Yogyakarta (Indonesia). 

Klaus Ludwig after an apprenticeship in tax and economic professions, turned his hobby into a profession when starting his studies at P.A.R.T.S., a dance school in Brussels. Shortly after he took over the administration of the dance companies and worked in the accountancy office Art Consult before joining the Production department of the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels in 2004. In 2007 he went to the Arab festival Meeting Points 5 and organized the tanznacht’08 in Berlin. At the end of 2008 he founded with three other colleagues the alternative management office Caravan Production. Since January, he works as financial director.

Nevenka Koprivsek studied at Ecole Jacques Lecoq, first working as an actress, then a theatre director and later as an artistic director. She was artistic director of one of the first experimental theatre venues in Ljubljana (Glej Theatre 1989-97). She is the founder: director of Bunker, a small production centre whose major annual events include Mladi Levi, an international festival of performing arts, renowned for its demanding creative orientation, artistic excellence, and expertise in discovering new talent. Since 2004, Bunker conceptualises and runs Stara Elektrara, an old power plant transformed into performing arts centre.
Nevenka Koprivšek has co-founded or been active in many international networks and exchange projects: IETM, Junge Hunde, D.B.M., Balkan Express, Theorem, Imagine 2020, Soul for Europe, Sostenuto, Re-inventura. She also writes, researches, lectures and advises on programming and cultural policy. 

Mary Ann DeVlieg, Secretary General of IETM (1994–2013), she then joined freeDimensional, helping artists who are threatened, harmed or imprisoned. Since 2011, Cha ir of the EU Working Group ‘ARJ’ on Arts, Rights, and Justice. Currently evaluates international cultural projects. Co-founder of artsfex (freedom of artistic expression exchange). Co-founded the Roberto Cimetta Fund for Mobility of Mediterranean Artists and Arts Organisers and founded on-the-move.org. Steered the EU initiative, ‘Culture and Creation as Vectors of Development in Africa, Caribbean and Pacific’; served on the European Commission’s High Level Reflection Group on Youth Mobility; received the EU’s ‘Individual Award’ for artists’ mobility; chaired the Japan Foundation’s PAJ Europe Fund (2006-2010); chaired the EU Working Group on Creativity & Creation, 2008- 2010. Ms. DeVlieg has an M.A. in European Cultural Policy and Management from Warwick University (UK), has worked for the Arts Council in England and founded/directed various foundations, networks, associations and think-tanks.

Nan Van Houte is a cultural manager with academic background and over 35 years of experience in the contemporary arts as  a director of a theatre labs and venues, curator, producer, tutor, dramaturg, journalist, advisor and Board member of national and international organisations. From 1993-2008 she was the director of Frascati, five stages for contemporary performing arts in the centre of Amsterdam. Before she entered her position of Secretary General of IETM she was the Head of the programming and international department of Dutch Theatre Institute.
