Getting to Nantes
By train
There are numerous daily TGV connections with Paris (2 hours), Roissy-CDG (2h30), Lille (4h), Lyon (5h), Reims (4h), Marseille (6h30), Strasbourg (5h20), Lorraine TGV (4h), Valence (5h15), Tours (1h40), Bordeaux (4h).
The SNCF station is located 5 minutes walk away from Le Lieu Unique, Scène nationale de Nantes. Take the exit “South Station”.

From the airport to the city
To reach the city centre from the airport, take the Tan shuttle. The bus stop is located in front of the airport Hall 2. The shuttle departs every 20 minutes and reaches the city centre in 20 minutes. Tickets cost 9 euros and are valid for 1 hour on the shuttle and the entire Tan network and in Ter trains within Nantes and the surrounding areas.
The shuttle is wheelchair accessible.
Points of sale: Tan mobile app, Tan website, in the Mobility Spaces, in some distributors in the station, from the shuttle driver (payment in cash or by credit card) and at the Relay shop in the airport Hall 2.
By car
Nantes boasts an extensive network of roads reaching:
- To the East: Paris – A1 motorway
- To the South: Bordeaux and Toulouse – A83 motorway
- To the West: Brest – N165/E60
- To the North: Rennes – N137
From the Nantes ring road, follow Nantes-Centre then Gare SNCF Congrès.

By bus
Nantes is connected by direct buses to Paris (5h45), Lyon (10h30), Rennes (2h), La Rochelle (2h).

The Haluchère-Batignolles bus station is located 15 minutes away by public transport from Le Lieu Unique, Scène nationale de Nantes with the Tram-Train.
